BMW:s superdieslar får trippelturbo

BMW 550d xDrive, M550d xDrive Touring, X5 M50d och X6 M50d är här och alla dieselkramare kan jubla. Det här är bilarna som ledigt nafsar nya BMW M5 med bensinmotor i hälarna, samtidigt som bränslesnålheten är påtaglig. Sedanmodellen av 5-serien ska bara dra 6,3 l/100 km, ändå klara 0-100 km/h på 4,7 sekunder och (givetvis) toppa 250 km/h.

Dieselsexan på 3,0 liter ger 381 hk och är försedd med tre turboaggregat. Exakt hur tekniken är komponerad avslöjar BMW inte riktigt ännu, det ska ju finnas lite att berätta på Genèvesalongen också, där de nya superdieslarna firar premiär.

Svenska priser är inte fastställda ännu, men i Tyskland börjar priserna på 80 800 euro för sedanversionen av 5-serien, medan touringmodellen går på 3 000 ytterligare.
